Let me introduce myself. Mom, wife, fitness aficionado, strategy geek, recovering bureaucrat, Chardonnay enthusiast, foodie, insatiable traveler, and international relations buff. Big fan of: travel, food, yoga, all the group exercise classes, compulsive organization, and GSD (getting sh*t done).
Still reading? (I’m impressed.) A bit more about me…A Hong Kong resident and Minnesota native who calls Alexandria, VA home, I grew up with three younger brothers in St. Paul, Minnesota. I will always love butter, cheese, walleye, Grainbelt, Summit, boats, and the Minnesota State Fair. I spent my younger days water skiing, playing golf and tennis, and bundling up for ski lessons and slalom racing.
I’ve had stops along the way in Boston (Go Jumbos!), Buenos Aires, LA, D.C. (Hoya Saxa!), Paris, and Hanoi, Vietnam. Work-wise, a global Consulting firm, the White House, Pentagon, Senate, two U.S. embassies, and an Old Town Boutique have been among my homes. More recently, I’ve moved to Hong Kong (with my two daughters, husband, and elderly shihchon), where I’m the transformation director across my firm’s Asia Pacific practice.
This space is dedicated to the fitness and lifestyle side of my reflections on life. Just a sampling of my own, constantly-evolving lessons learned, tips, and tricks and a space to share yours. So, please let me hear your two cents (or $0.155 HKD) about how to live better, healthier, more fun and balanced lives.
