About Me

Biz Suit for Blog

Let me introduce myself. Mom, wife, fitness aficionado, budget and strategic planning geek, recovering bureaucrat, Chardonnay enthusiast, foodie, insatiable traveler, and international relations buff. Big fan of: freedom, real food, skincare, yoga, spinning, pop culture, compulsive organization, and GSD (getting sh*t done).

Still reading? (I’m impressed.) A bit more about me…A Vietnam resident and Minnesota native who calls Alexandria, VA home, I grew up with three younger brothers in St. Paul, Minnesota. I will always love butter, cheese, walleye, Grainbelt, Summit, boats, and the Minnesota State Fair. I spent my younger days water skiing, playing golf and tennis, and bundling up for ski lessons and races (and just to venture outside from November-May!).

I’ve had stops along the way in Boston (Go Jumbos!), Buenos Aires, LA, D.C. (Hoya Saxa!) and Paris. Work-wise, the White House, Pentagon, Senate, two U.S. embassies, and an Old Town Boutique have been among my homes. More recently, I’ve linked up with an international development program, worked on publishing research and marketing, managed blog and newsletter content, started selling Rodan + Fields skincare products (https://atoomey.myrandf.com/), and served as a sponsorship coordinator for a large women’s organization and a board member of the American Club, Hanoi.

This space is dedicated to the fitness and lifestyle side of my reflections on life. Just a sampling of my own, constantly-evolving lessons learned, tips, and tricks and a space to share yours. So, please let me hear your two cents (or 427 Vietnamese dong) about how to live better, healthier, more balanced lives.
